Sebastion makes a surprise appearance in Aladdin when the Genie is searching for a recipe to turn Aladdin into a prince. The Genie searches through his cookbook, he reaches in, and pulls out a very specific crab!

Ron Clements and John Musker next to Aladdin

This Easter egg may have been partly due to the filmmakers of this movie. Ron Clements and John Musker were the filmmakers of both The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. They also made the decision to include themselves within the movie. There is a split second in Aladdin where we see 2 men standing near him, otherwise known as Ron Clements and John Musker!

Sven in Moana

During the song “Shiny”, from Moana, Maui finally regains his magic fishhook, and does his best to transform into a helpful animal for their situation. Moana and Maui were trapped underground in a large, wealth-obsessed crab’s lair.

Maui manages to grab his fishhook and tries to change into an eagle, but instead goes through a series of animals including a fish, a reindeer, and a pig, none of which were super helpful for them in the moment. Ironically, the reindeer Maui transforms to happens to be Sven, from the movie Frozen.

Baymax in Moana

When we are first introduced to the Kakamoras in Moana, we can see a friendly face. The iconic Baymax eyes, from Big Hero 6, are pictured on one of the Kakamoras.

This scene takes place when Moana and Maui are on the sailboat attempting to reach the island of Te Fiti to restore her heart. The ride is going pretty well, when they reach the island of the Kakamoras. Let’s just say, they know how to turn from cute to dangerous real quick!

For those who might not know, Baymax is one of the main characters in the Disney movie Big Hero 6. A teenager designs Baymax, a robot whose sole purpose is to take care of people. However, when things start to go downhill, Baymax is forced to become a superhero.

“Hello. I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion.”

Pinocchio in Aladdin

Probably one of the more popular Easter eggs, Pinnochio has made cameos in many movies during his career.

There is a scene in Aladdin where we see Aladdin and the Genie talking about his three wishes and what he is going to do with them. Genie makes an offhanded comment about how he would love to be free. However, the only way for his to get free is for someone to wish him free.

Aladdin, being a gentleman, says that he would willingly wish the Genie free for him. The Genie immediately turned into Pinnochio (including the nose!) for a split second, not believing him.

Go ahead. Make a fool of yourself, and maybe you’ll listen to your conscience.

Mrs. Potts in Tarzan

During the song Trashing’ the Camp in Tarzan, you can see Terk drumming on a tea set that looks suspiciously like Mrs. Potts and Chip Potts from Beauty and the Beast. One of the teapots even includes a little chip on the rim!

This reinforces the theory that Jane, from Tarzan, is actually descended from Belle, Beauty and the Beast. Fans argue that there is no other way that Jane would have this precious tea set. There are also a few similarities between Jane and Belle. They both wear iconic yellow dresses, and have an affinity for making animal-like humans more civil. Also, both of their dads are tad bit eccentric, yet very smart.

What do you guys think? Could Jane actually have been descended from Belle?

Rapunzel in Frozen

This is my personal favorite Easter egg. Both Tangled and Frozen were movies I grew up loving, so when I was shown this image I was stunned!

When Anna sings For the First Time in Forever in Frozen, she ends up running out of the castle gate and greeting the crowd.

Two of the people we see her greeting are Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder (Eugene). There has been some speculation in the Disney internet that Frozen and Rapunzel take place in the same universe, and this Easter egg seems to give that theory much more credibility!

There is also a theory that Rapunzel and Flynn are at Elsa’s coronation because Anna and Elsa’s parents died on the ship ride to Rapunzel and Flynn’s wedding. This theory is more unlikely, due to the new Frozen 2 that says that their parents were traveling to find help for Elsa.

I guess you just never know who your favorite Disney characters are hanging out with!
